object:  Minin street
description: 'No entrance!' – whispers the tattered tablet blocking up the pass to Minin street. The whole world is hiding behind it. Helpless bare branches of wire, oppressive black ladders, smell of the rotting wood, chimneys-colossi. Everything else. But beside the constructions and the building material people are living. I wonder if they noticed that the old blue paint on the stained walls seems to be much brighter than the sky. The street can tell the story of its life, one should only be able to hear it. Otherwise – no entrance!

object:  Parking, GSC Lada
description: Piles, empty corridors, chilling wind from every side. An unfinished parking of quite a huge size in the outskirts of the city. Swamps and plants that surround the building make it difficult to get in. When you are inside it, you feel like peeping at the whole world through a keyhole.

object:  Tripoltavr (An unfinished business centre)
description: Sometimes one can see advertisements catering for investors on TV. But all building equipment, including tower cranes, is moved away. And it’s likely to remain in such a state. Because there will be no investors. Some people call this construction “Clover”. We have a more beautiful name for it – Tripoltavr. It consists of 3 towers, about 13 floors, the territory is guarded. Winds blow through this majestic building, a fabulous panorama of the neighboring plants, housing areas and meadows opens up from its top floors. It’s different at night – the wind is howling and tempting to follow him, and the city turns into a motley ant hill...

object:  A trip to the childhood: desolated children’s camps
description: N kilometers from the aggressive city, fairly clean forest, fresh air. Gaily chattering children, singing with the guitar around the campfire till the very dawn. An ideal place for the rest. Used to be. Now there is no one there. We have visited 3 camps. Two of them are desolated. Despair in every building: broken glass, emptiness, things turned inside out, the after-effects of the raging rainstorm. And only primeval nature around. The third camp is asleep: unlike its fellows, it will feel the breathing of life in summer.

object:  Lambda
description: The abandoned building of a plant in the very centre of the city. Interlacing of various corridors and workshops makes the building more than complex. The gallery is really resonating the spring mood...

object:  BSU Law Faculty being reconstructed
description: The building itself is of little interest. Everything beautiful and exciting reveals itself in the higher floors and in the roof. Dirty and dusty glass, rusty roofs, webs of wires and antennas contrast with the general glitter of the city.

object:  Nonoperating system of narrow-gauge railway
description: The system was built for the transportation of peat from the local plants that produce peat briquettes to the main railroad. Not working since 1989. We saw only a small part of the system. There are still the rails of the narrow-gauge and ordinary ailways. One can see 30 –meter- high searchlight towers, shaking in the gusts of wind. Platforms, where containers with peat should be loaded, overgrown with grass. There is also a gantry crane. The railway is surrounded by fields and vegetable gardens

object:  The shop of visual aids (2088)
description: I have no idea why this construction was called a shop and, moreover, of visual aids, because it’s difficult to give such a name to the 10-15storied building practically without windows. There are similarly empty halls with columns on every floor. The passport gives amusing dates of the beginning and ending of the building: 1988-2088.

object:  Industrial Zone and cooling system of the TEC5 (heat power plant).
description: Lifeless territories around TEC5, empty, overgrown inside hangars, park-dump of dead machinery and warped car skeletons. Cloudless blue sky, rainbow in the smallest aerosol of heat exchanging water, humming under the pressure pipes, slippery with algae concrete, greenish water with the temperature of a human body, smell of the rank pond and the gigantic chimney-stalk of the power plant on the horizon.

object:  Abandoned hangars of Kirov plant
description: A number of huge abandoned hangars. Everything inside is so neglected, that not only grass, but also shrubs and even small trees grow there! One of the hangers is empty, another one is half filled up with the remains of the building materials and already inoperative machinery. Hundreds of gulls circle over the building. It’s situated on the guarded territory of the plant.

object:  Zhodino. An unfinished department in the forge shop
description: The workshop is not finished and strikes you with its space, huge sizes (the height equals 7-11 floors) and incredible constructions. At the different levels the foundry is intersected by ladders, platforms, beams, various passages, cranes. It has a standard history- after the disintegration of the USSR, in the beginning of the 90th, the building was stopped and left as it was. Now the object is bit by bit carried away by the local people. It is undoubtedly the most grandiose abandoned building of the kind in the whole Belarus

object:  Industrial district around the cogeneration plant TEC-4
description: Huge coolers, interlacing of transmission facilities, long rows of transformers, polluted greenish-orange ponds, the sound of living mechanisms at the territory, the land dying of the toxic waste. You can see and feel it there. Looking at all this you realize that human race has no future and no chances to survive

object:  The cemetery of cranes
description: Dozens of obsolete cranes gathered in one place. Their fellows of various kinds make obstacles in the way to the zone. Plants stretching out around complete this fantastic landscape.
O, these cranes are not dead, they are just sleeping...
